Northwest Eye Physicians

I’m giving it 2 stars as my first visit was great. Staff was kind. Dr. assured me that the treatment plan was the most conservative with many more options if that didn’t work and to come back in one month. A week later my eye pain was still intolerable. I left a message for Dr Jose. Receptionist was great. The man who returned my call was horrifically condescending and told me that I didn't have pain and tried to define pain for me. He was also suspect that I was using my drops. (My disease is known for being very, very painful.). I asked this man to ask Dr Jose about what I could do to reduce the pain while waiting to see if his treatment plan would work. The man returned my call and said that Dr Jose could do nothing more for me. Strange since a week prior he promised me that there were so many things he could help with. I will tell my eye Dr who referred me to rethink his future referrals (to be fair he recommended a different Dr., but since that Dr. was out on vacation and my pain was horrid, I took what Dr. was available in the practice).

Appointments always later than scheduled. Bring a book or reading materials for the long wait . Some of the staff is unprofessional mainly at check in as well as a billing associate. Dr. Pickett was in and out of room, no bedside manner. I came in for issues with my vision and check up after surgery. Still having poor vision. Now I need another procedure! Get a second opinion before any procedures... Please do your research before selecting this business. Truly think twice.

I've been a patient for years with Northwest Eye and have had very positive service with the doctors and staff. But, last week was a different situation where I poked a stick in my eye. They worked me into their schedule within 15 min. And also the next day, when the pain became more intensive. Wow! I was very satisfied with that service and the pain was relieved.

I'm giving this facility a ZERO, all of the doctors there could not diagnose or treat my eye condition from September 29th 2023 to January 2nd 2024 and that was my last visit. The only thing Dr. Wood did was tell me I had crusty eyes and eye mites and I needed to buy HIS products that he sells at the checkout counter. He is useless in my opinion. A doctor that works for him Dr. Jose, was not Board Certified when he treated me on September 29th and I saw him twice treating my eye condition when he wasn't certified to do so. This continued on from Dr. Jose to Dr. Wood to Dr. Prickett and none of them DIAGNOSED my eye or TREATED it. That was when I left the them, on 1.2.2024. NOW I have asked for medical records to go elsewhere and Vicky has not sent them and I have sent 3 or more emails to her for them and she has stopped responding. So on Monday January 22, 2024, I WILL CALL THE OFFICE MANAGER and file a complaint. I have already seen another physician who has helped and knows Dr. Wood. He refused to make a comment on him.
